Andrea Cera, or how music and everyday life find a way

Andrea Cera has been working to apply his musical knowledge to the world of electric cars from some time now.

Thanks to his collaboration with IRCAM in Paris, he is working with Renault to apply ‘noise’ to the silent (and therefore dangerous) electric car.  At the same time, he has produced a new musical project staged at Espace de projection at IRCAM and IEM in Graz on November 24^th-25^th.

Zoom-up, his new piece, is based on the intercommunication between long distance piano-players (Duplex-Concert).

The musical event and his work with Renault have been the subject of an article by Nathaniel Herzberg (Le Monde, 26 November): “Andrea Cera, le metteur en sons”.
