The doctoral consortium of the Conservatories of Pescara, Ferrara, Trieste, and Udine is super inspiring and includes numerous doctoral meetings, networking opportunities, performances, colloquia, conferences, periods abroad… 🌍🎻🎹

The research tracks are interdisciplinary and bring together an extraordinary, targeted series of exploratory fields.

  • 🎭 Performance and creativity: relationships between theory and practice, new performance and executive modes beyond the traditional concert, impact of technology, and Historically Informed Performance.
  • 🎻 Lutherie: from historical instruments to electronic and hybrid models, manufacturing techniques, acoustics, restoration, environmental sustainability, and new technologies (e.g., 3D printing).
  • 🎼 Creative processes in composition and improvisation: compositional methodologies, estemporaneous interaction and improvisation, alternative grammars, notation, and the relationship with technologies.
